Join Us In a State-Wide Giving Initiative
Cannabis is essential. Essential as a provider of medicine, jobs, recreation, and in the best cases, equity and access. And as an essential sector it is imperative that we collectively support community need in the midst of the current pandemic. We are all struggling, but the unhoused, the hungry and medical professionals caring for the ones we love need our support today and months from now.
Join us in supporting our neighbors and leveraging our industry for a state-wide, collaborative giving initiative. Join us in showing our community – we’re here, we care, we’ve got you. Join us, by choosing one or all of our community partners to donate to today.
Cannabis. DOES. Good.
Urban Peak is the only non-profit organization in Denver that provides a full convergence of services for youth ages 15 through 24 experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Their goal is to help youth overcome real life challenges and become self-sufficient adults. During this time funds donated will go towards Urban Peak’s crisis assistance fund or for making non-medical fabric masks for homeless service providers.
Friends in Weed aims to provide ongoing support to members of the cannabis and service industries. They came up with a way to support cannabis retailers and provide needed revenue for local restaurants while we all wait patiently for things to get back to normal. “Tips”, in the form of gift cards to local restaurants, are given to the staff of store partners. They aim to keep Colorado healthy and thriving.
Resources
• Preparedness Plan guidelines and resources available to any and all dispensaries (not just our members). These tools are designed to ensure the safety of your employees and customers during this challenging time.
• The free Leaf411 hotline is also available at no cost to employees who may have questions about COVID-19 and how to stay healthy and safe in the workplace. Our hotline is now open for COVID-19 questions from the public, even from non-cannabis users.
• To limit the amount of in-person contact, our hotline nurses can help your customers plan their dispensary visit in advance.
